Add search criteria and saved searches

The ability to scope a search to specific fields (e.g., projects, due dates, etc) and then, also, to be able to save these searches, is one of the most powerful aspects of tools like Asana and Todoist. Would love to see that same evolution in Akiflow.

Hi, is there any attention being put to this at all?

It's seriously a daily problem having to sift through completed tasks when searching for one that's not completed. I need a consistent task naming scheme for my workflow, and the number of completed tasks in search results grows and grows over time, further burying the open tasks I'm searching for.

Indigo Football: At the moment, this isn’t on our immediate roadmap since we’re prioritizing strengthening the foundation of the existing features and functionalities. That said, once we’re done with those, we’ll definitely look into improvements like this. Getting more traction on this request will also help us prioritize it sooner, so your upvote here really makes a difference.

Adding a comment on behalf of Yasmine Madkour:

It would be great if we could split event results to past and future and today in the search results

Hi Matt, is there something specific that you need right now in the Search feature?
    Thank you!

Stefania: What specifically made me think of this feature was that I wanted to filter out Done and Deleted tasks from search results. Nothing urgent, as that's not really holding up my work, but search can be a very powerful tool to manage a large number of tasks.
One of the things I'm struggling with is that I'm wanting to use Akiflow as my primary task manager. At the moment, I'm finding this difficult because I work with a large number of personal tasks and that's difficult to manage in Akiflow. I can do most of what I want in Todoist and Asana, but then I'm switching tools a lot and it's not clear that all of the manipulations I might do in the external tool will carry over to Akiflow. I understand it's early days for Akiflow, but I wanted to share the source of my requests.
