Add some sort of limits per week/ month/ day

Its easy to simply assign every inbox task to “next week” but then next week happens and I have 10000 Tasks … :D A better approach is to calculate all tasks together and rate a week how full it already it. So when planing it will show if next week is already really full or even if this month is already pretty full and its better todo it next month or replan other tasks. This could also be helpful for the ai to know how to automatically plan tasks based on available time

    Hey Fabian,

Thanks so much for sharing this — it’s a great idea and definitely something a lot of users could benefit from.

Right now, Akiflow doesn’t have built-in limits or “capacity indicators” for days, weeks, or months, but the concept of showing how full a period already is (and helping prevent overload when planning) makes a ton of sense. It could also pair really well with smarter AI scheduling, just like you described.

I can assure you our team is aware of requests like this so they can consider it for future improvements. We really appreciate you taking the time to think through how planning could be more balanced and realistic!

If you have any more ideas or examples of how you'd like this to work, feel free to share — it’s super helpful.

It should be based on the estimated time per task (pulling the “time estimate” from ClickUp). If I plan to work 6 hours today but the tasks I’ve scheduled add up to 10 hours, there absolutely needs to be an alert.

      Hey Pawel,

Thanks for the added context! That makes complete sense — using the estimated time per task would make this even more accurate.

We agree that if your planned tasks exceed the total hours you’ve set for the day, there should be an alert or warning. I’ll make sure to pass this along to our team for future consideration, as it would be a really helpful improvement for daily planning and workload balance.

Thanks again for the great suggestion!

Maybe it makes also sense to have a “ai”/ or manuel set limits of each project. So I could have a project for home cleaning whatever and say I want to do max 2h of cleaning per day and 5h per day for a project etc.
