Akiflow Assistant That Reads Emails and WhatsApp Messages to Suggest Tasks

I’d love to have an Akiflow assistant that can automatically read my emails and WhatsApp messages to suggest or create tasks based on the content.

For example, if someone sends me a message like “Can you send me that report tomorrow?”, the assistant could detect it and suggest creating a task for that.

            We have Gmail inbox monitor feature in beta, but not for Whatsapp. Would you be interested in trying it out?

              Yes! I actually don't need the WhatsApp solution personally so the Gmail is a higher priority from my end.

                Hi Phil, the current beta handles Gmail meeting requests and travel bookings. It doesn’t yet turn general requests like “send me the report tomorrow” into tasks.

                Would those meeting and travel features be useful to you, or is extracting to-dos from emails the main thing you need?

                  Extracting To-dos is my need - I’m currently managing it through another automation platform, but it’s not the best solution.

                    Did you maybe try connecting Gmail MCP with your AI tool (e.g. ChatGPT) to extract tasks and then create those tasks in Akiflow with Akiflow MCP?

    I can totally understand why this would be cool, but I’d like to be sure we can also ask it NOT to do this. I have emails that are private and would like to be able to connect gmail just to create tasks from emails without worrying Aki would have unfettered access to that account. Thanks!
