When I open Google Calendar, I find it challenging to distinguish between my meetings (invites received) and my tasks/slots from Aki, as they all share the same color.
This feeling of confusion drives me to seek a more organized approach…

This is one thing that helps with planning. It helps knowing what is work and what is personal. Last, thing anyone wants to see is some work related event show up in one's personal calendar.

+1 for this. It'd be nice to not have to go back through and put the tasks on the appropriate calendar when I'm planning the day; if I can automatically associate work projects with my work calendar, for example, it would make it a breeze.
