Thanks for flagging this! This is actually expected behavior — when you use the highlighted Plan button, it only shows the next 3 upcoming views and available slots in your calendar.
As a workaround, you can use the Plan prompt instead: click on the task, press the “P” key, and a planning pop-up will appear. From there, scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see the Someday option.
We’ll also log this as a feature request so the experience can be improved in the future.
