Different colour themes would make it better for accessibility IMO.

In between options for Light/ Dark color mode
I was wondering if an appearance option between light and dark could be implemented? Like a beige or cream? I just ask because I find that I'm far more productive with light mode, but seeing particular lines and things of that nature are a bit hard with the full light mode / is harsh on the eyes.
Ability to customize the default purple accent colour
The default purple used throughout Akiflow's UI is quite bold and can feel visually heavy. It would be great to have the option to customize this accent colour — for example, switching it to a softer bluish/light blue tone for a cleaner, more minimal look. Even a small set of accent colour presets would go a long way in making the interface feel more personalized and easier on the eyes.

Yeah this would be great. I appreciate the purpose is on brand, but being able to choose the colour that compliments the dark mode (like green or blue) would be really nice. Sorry Akiflow, I love you, but it's crazy how much the purple puts me off the UI. Purple by default for sure, just with an option to change. It's so personal, to make an app feel more 'yours' and how a colour can make you feel different about an app you're using a lot during the day. I want to love looking at and managing my tasks.

My color fetish lives around black+green themes and it would definitely make Akiflow the ultimate app for me!
Extreme situations aside, the current UI seems to be tailored extremely well.
Premise: I use dark mode only.
While I'm no designer, I tried giving a thought on what kind of specific adjustments would help me enjoy it even a little bit more, and I realized that applying slightly different shades to the three vertical areas (left menu, central today view, calendar on the right) might be a little adjustment that is worth exploring.

Agreed. I have some vision issues and the current color themes make things more difficult for me to see what I'm looking at sometimes.

Thanks for your feedback, Nathan! We understand how customizable accent colours could make the interface feel lighter and more personalized. Although, using the different mode (light&dark) can show difference in the colors, we’ve still noted your suggestion for future updates, including the idea of preset colour options.
