The reason this feature is important for not only Asana, but any other integrated task manager, is because it demotes Akiflow as the "capture" device for tasks. I love the command bar to add tasks, but anything that I add to Akiflow I have to duplicate in my integrated task managers for the purpose of team visibility. And then once I add it to the integrated task manager, I have to delete the existing Akiflow task because it will be re-imported from the task manager. Imagine if you created a calendar event in Akiflow but it didn't sync to your Google calendar. It would be un-usable! It's the same for tasks. The more I rely on Akiflow daily, the more I wish I could push tasks from Akiflow to my integrated task manager of choice, per task.
