Hierarchy of Goals (weekly/monthly)
I would like to have bigger Goals - not tied to specific tasks - and be reminded that I'm working for the top one, to keep having the bigger picture of what I'm working on.
Thus during the day we can always ask ourselves: are we doing the good thing? Is it the fastest route to our goal? We got late on the plan, what did we learn and what can be done to get the goal done anyway?

It would be huge if it was built like horizons, so you could set long or sort term goals (set alone goals, or by projects ) and then see how you advance, and you could link tasks to those goals.

Would love weekly & monthly goals! Sunsama has done this well: https://roadmap.sunsama.com/changelog/weekly-objectives
"The purple bullseyes on your task cards show which tasks are your most important ones that link back to your objectives."

Riley Brook: I would also love to see weekly goals that I can plan out in Month view on the calendar.

I think time-line based project management features would be very useful for akiflow user eventhough they already use notion or assana. Of course akiflow should focus on it's main features, not the management system. Therefore, the management tools like notion or jira would be invincible in the management tool market.
But still the aki should offer the features such as simple linking view or roadmap view or something.
Because when we surrounded by tiny tasks, then we are easy to lose our work efficiency. (For example, What should I do with this tasks? Are these scheduled works importanat? Where am i?)
So, we are easily back to assana or jira or notion to catch up the road map or our midterm project missions.
we would not be gatherd together in akiflow… rather we use notion with google cal..
Aki is now just playing a role as well designed integration reminder… road map.. timeline… subtasks… the heavy features should be offered…..

Junan: Hi Junan, thank you so much for your feedback and insights. We agree, and we can't wait to release more features that help you organize your tasks and time in the best way possible without leaving Akiflow.

Kai: I also like Timestripe's approach. I would love to see Akiflow implement a similar approach (with the great Akiflow UI) that makes it possible to organize tasks into different time horizons (a given week, a given month, a given quarter).
And drag and drop tasks from these time horizons to schedule them on a given day, week day, etc.

griply.app has a really convenient Goals Timeline feature
It’s basically a Gantt diagram. This is way better than assigning a “goal priority” to a task, because the goal is by definition is something bigger than a task - it’s more like a project.
It can be implemented this way - add start / end date to Folders and Lists → they become Goals and Subgoals! Add dependencies between Lists, add this Gantt view, add display them an the main calendar also. Later you can improve it even better - better visualize the plan / fact progress etc.

If it could include a 12-week year planner, that would be incredible!

Yes — I thought it a bit odd that "goal setting" was simply creating tasks with a "goal" type. To be really helpful, they need to at least connect to projects and be a true layer in the organization hierarchy.

Would be great to be able to associate a task with a goal. That way, I could track what’s remaining to be done for that goal and see the progress towards it.
