Improvement: Native app (Windows, MacOS)

Akiflow has become more and more central to my workflow. In fact, it's now opened on my PC most of the time. Therefore, its resources usage matters to me.
By looking at Windows' task manager, I see that the app has spawn 11 processes and consumes ~400 MiB when idle. If I were to guess, your app is built with electronjs.
I understand why a startup would use web technologies instead of building a native app to increase features velocity.
That said, I'm creating this ticket to signal that some of your users will be happy when if performance is improved.
Have a great day!

Bump, because in 2024 Akiflow for Windows is still very laggy. It's not only about resources, it's almost unusable. MacOS version is fine, Web and Windows are bad. UI is not that difficult to perform this badly.

Not sure if this is related, but I’d also like the app to use native notifications. When I was gaming on my Windows machine recently, I kept getting yanked out of my game and it turned out to be Akiflow notifications. If the app used native notifications, my focus mode settings would have prevented the Akiflow notification as desired.

I agree--I actually believe there's a memory leak in Windows, as the memory usage consistently ticks up the longer the app is open. I hope that the resource use of Akiflow can be optimized in future iterations.
