Indicating when an organizer has cancelled a calendar event as gCal does
In Google Calendar, if you accepted a calendar invite but then the organizer cancels it, a question mark appears on the event space in your calendar. In Akiflow, the organizer can cancel and there’s no indication - unless you click into it - that the organizer has cancelled. This would be a helpful feature.

@Farron What do you mean by “organizer cancels the event”? If organizer deletes the event, it should be removed from your calendar, right? We already do this. Or do you mean when organizer selects “not attending” the event that they organized?

Yes, sorry - not attending. It’s probably less common that an organizer cancels and selects not attending instead of deleting the event altogether, but obviously it happens (my screenshot).
And if your invitee cancels and selects ‘not attending’ (more common) and the same lack of calendar-level indication occurs, then it’s the same problem.

Hi Farron, sorry we didn’t close the loop earlier. We fixed the issue where the organizer’s declined indicator disappeared after you accepted the invitation. You should now see an X on the calendar event when the organizer selects “Not attending.”
Could you confirm whether this works for you in the latest desktop app? If you’re still missing an indicator when another attendee declines, is that for one-to-one meetings or meetings with several guests?

This is how gCal does it
The other screenshot is of Akiflow, where a cancellation is not indicated at the calendar view level

Hey Farron 👋 thanks for raising this idea, I agree. I’ll have our product team take a look at this.
