It would be nice to add a location for tasks. Because there are some tasks that would require a physical presence and while looking at the calendar schedule it would be nice to know where is the task going to take place.
With the next app update 2.80 version, you can now add a location to any task, an address, a place, or a map link, and open it directly when it’s time to go. Locations sync across all your devices and are also added to locked calendar events, so your plan stays in one place.
Available on desktop, web, and mobile app.

Stefania: Happy to! Primarily it will be useful when…
1) receive an email that an order is ready for pickup (i.e., Best Buy, Home Depot, Pharmacy, etc)
2) someone (coworker, spouse, friend) asks me to do something outside the office (mail package, drop off dry-cleaning, go to the grocery store)
…then I would add the location so I can quickly pull up directions when I need to leave. However, I would like to avoid it being a calendar event since tasks are more flexible. You can add/remove them from your calendar but still have them in a list of todo's for the day. You can even plan them for a different day with no set start/end time.
Currently, I need to add a calendar event to have the location. This means that if my schedule changes for the day, I need to pick a time to move the event to a future date. And this time selection is usually random because I have not planned the day yet.
This randomly moving around calendar dates seems clunky and inefficient. Whereas, if I could add addresses to the tasks, I could just unschedule it until I have time to plan my next day.

I downloaded 2.80.3 and I don’t see the address or location field available in the task creation window. Does it work differently than than ‘event’ creation?
