Make task titles take up multiple lines

Currently, there's generally a lot of space to fit the entire task title but it doesn't seem to use it.

This has become more of a challenge with me as I do more with synced Jira stories. I think the best option would be to offer three options: 1-line only, 2-lines only, or all lines. Two lines would be a good balance of being able to know the task in most cases and still allow for a somewhat organized and compact view.

This is vital. The lack of wrapping text is one of the biggest issues I'm having with Akiflow. I really want to stick with it because I love a lot of the other features, but I'm struggling with how much time it takes to manually open each task to see what it is. Same goes for the calendar. I always, always, always need to be able to see the title of the task. This is especially critical when tasks don't show the descriptions. If there's an important note I need to see from the calendar, I put it in the task title.

Molly: Hi Molly, thanks for your feedback! In the calendar you should see the full task title (if there's space, so if you are on the weekly view and the task is 30m one maybe there's not enough space). About the tasklist: you can resize the column to make it larger if you want:)

Stefania: I know you can resize the Today and calendar columns, but you can't resize any of the other columns in the app. That's great, assuming you're on a big enough screen to see both the list and the number of calendar days you need to see at the same time and you don't need to split the screen with any other apps. Zooming out can sometimes help, but it won't make the text fit better in the "upcoming" view. It just makes the columns smaller and squeezes more in. Considering how overwhelming that view can be to begin with, it's a shame you can't control the number of columns you see or what's in them.

Being able to see what your tasks are when they're in your inbox or on your to-do list is an absolute must. You should be able to see the full names of your events from every view, not just the calendar. It seems to me people are asking to see their task titles on their to-do lists. They should be able to do that alongside a full calendar week. I was genuinely surprised when I first saw that this was a feature request and not a bug report. I have the same issue with the lists underneath the calendar. What's the point of fitting a greater number of tasks if you can't see what they are? How are you supposed to schedule them or tick them off the list?

The lack of wrapping is most unhelpful, I think, in the pinned slot feature. There's absolutely no way I can find to see more of the task. I tried moving the divider, but that only affects the "today" and calendar columns. The pinned column remains exactly the same. I then tried zooming out, but the pinned column just shrunk along with the text rather than accommodate more characters. Also, zooming out makes the calendar respond inconsistently. I have yet to successfully plan a day while zoomed out, not because I'm unable to plan, but because I was constantly trying to nudge things into place or figure out where they went. I was so psyched about the pinned column feature. I wish I could use it.

Molly: Thank you so much for your feedback Molly, I really appreciate it. I'll reach out if we start implementing this feature.

Agreed! It would be rare for someone to have so many tasks that showing the entire title would cause tasks to overflow off the screen - particularly on the "upcoming" view. There is a lot of screen real estate that is not being used. I would greatly encourage showing the ENTIRE title or at least make this a toggled option.

Andrew: I'm the person with that many tasks (huge backlog due to illness), and I really don't care if I have to scroll to see all my tasks. When my inbox and "today" lists are at 99+ due to rollover, I'm going to have to scroll either way. I'd rather scroll to see more tasks with full titles than what I currently have to do, which is individually open each and every task to see what it is. Even if I front-load the key info, I end up with a lot of things I can't ID at a glance.

Totally agree, this is a must have!

Hi Iwanto! Thanks for your feedback. Would you like to see the whole title and/or the whole description of the task?

Stefania: Just the whole title should be enough for a quick glance.

Stefania: Many apps offer the option for both. Since Akiflow doesn't allow sub-tasks, seeing the description is vital for those of us who use checkboxes or lists to make sure all the parts are complete (slots aren't practical for that because they don't exist outside of the calendar). The only alternative I've been able find is to use several future dates to hold "templates" of slots that are actually just tasks with sub-tasks.

Task Title: Show more text details instead of limiting to 3 lines

it would be nice to limit the text showing by number of character and not by lines.
