Outlook Email: import all emails automatically
Was very disappointed that the outlook email integration essentially is a manual feature.
So essentially I have to keep checking my inbox which defeats the purpose of Akiflow. If Trello can autosync, why not outlook?
I had hoped that it would get rid of the need to use and pay for Zapier to automatically sync my emails with Akiflow.
Keen to see what the feedback is to this.

We don't want to import all your emails automatically because not all your emails are tasks. If you can ready/reply/decide to ignore it in less than 2 minutes it'd be better to just do it in that moment and avoid cluttering your Akiflow inbox, this is why we built the email (Gmail/Outlook) integration making the user pick which emails to import.

Stefania: Thanks for getting back. Going through emails is the bane of my working life.
For the volume of notifications, marketing, project updates, I receive, sorting my emails manually is what I am trying to avoid. It is sooo time consuming and never a 2 minute task. The less time I spend in the inbox is more time I can utilise on billable tasks.
And that manual sorting approach also meant I missed important emails as they were pushed down.
In Zapier it had a useful filter zap that allows me to narrow down what gets dumped into my task list.
The Zapier to Akiflow workflow is great as it saves me the time of having to filter my emails manually.
I Agree, noone would want their inbox dumped into their task list! But perhaps filters inside the App would be a better solution rather than one that means I have to do additional work.
