Currently, the parent task doesn't reflect the combined duration of its subtasks, making it harder to understand the overall workload and plan effectively.
I just want to have the total sum, so imagine I plan a subtask writing a paper part 1 2 hours, and another task writing a paper part 2 2 hours, the parent task “paper writing” should AUTOMATICALLY add up to 4 hours, at the moment I’ll have to do that manually in Akiflow, which is a bit complicated.

Thanks for this suggestion. What do you expect it to happen if you plan a Parent task and change the duration of it to be different than aggregated duration of all subtasks?
