Preview of the day when creating a new task/event from the Command Bar
When adding a new task/event or scheduling an existing task it would be great to see a miniature view of the day so that one can easily spot free timeslots and schedule accordingly.

Seems like it already works on Capture (at least via Command-K), right? The only inconvenience is that it starts the display at midnight, so you have to scroll 8 hours or so to get to a usable schedule view, but it does let you see things. Not sure if it works on Global Capture yet (as opposed to Command K from within the app). Would be great if it did, but there are more pressing items, I’m sure!

Thanks for the nudge on this one, and sorry it's been quiet for so long.
Part of this is already live in the desktop app: select a task and hit P
(Plan), and the command bar opens with that day's calendar next to your
date options. As you move through the options it draws a preview block
where the task would land, so you can see what's already there before you
commit. There's also an ASAP option that picks the first free slot based
on what's on your calendar that day. The same panel shows up when you plan
a time slot.
What's still missing is this view when you're creating something brand new
from the command bar, rather than scheduling something that already exists.
If that's the part you're after, could you reply and say so? It helps us
judge whether to build it, and right now we can't tell how many of you hit
this on capture rather than on planning.

Hi everyone, we are working on this! In the meantime, we just released a new command bar version where you can see your calendar while planning a task (Plan command). Let me know what you think!

Hi Stefania!
Just wondering if there are still plans to display your schedule in the command bar (similar to what we see from the menu bar)?

Melissa: Hi Melissa, we haven't prioritised this yet (not rejected it!), I'll let you know if we start working on this:)
