I would want to have a recurring tasks that is not tied to a day of the week. For example if I wanted "gym" to appear on my weekly to do list instead of every Wednesday.
It would be nice if it was possible on a daily and monthly basis too!

Jayrich Sebullen, great question. It would be great to be able to set it as "Every week" and it would then pop up in the list of tasks for the week. For example, I need to do laundry every week, but when I do it changes based on my schedule. At the beginning of the week, I review my tasks shown in the week area and then start to fit them into my schedule. I have a lot of tasks that need to get completed each week (reports, etc) but they can be done throughout the week - they just need to be out by Sunday night. This means, right now, I have a huge number of tasks on my calendar for Sunday night at 9pm and I am constantly having to remember to pull them off Sunday night and move them earlier in the week when time permits - it's basically a scheduling flow issue. I want to see all the things due this week that are flexible and schedule them, which the week view provides, but many are repeating tasks, so I want them to show up each week in that view.
I'd like adding the planning buckets to recurring tasks. for me I have many tasks that need to recur at certain frequency but it doesn't always work to plan on a fixed day ongoing. Would be amazing to be able to recur every #ofweeks

Allowing for recurring tasks to appear in these views would help a lot in completing these types of tasks and allowing more versatility. If we can lower the specificity of a task by not setting a specific time, and, for most tasks, we also don’t have to set a specific day in advance, why can’t we also do that for recurring tasks?
I think this is the only majorly useful feature that Akiflow is missing, now that subtasks have been added, which is why I care enough about it to write a feature request for the first time. I do hope the team considers this suggestion. Thank you.
