Schedule tasks/time slots past midnight

It makes sense for things that happen after midnight to be counted towards the next day (the day they actually happen), but I think it would be useful to count tasks/events scheduled until I go to bed as if they were done the past day.

For instance, if I stay up reading or working on a project until 1am (Tuesday into Wednesday), I usually count that extra hour of productivity towards my Tuesday productivity hours, not Wednesday.

It would be nice to be able to scroll past midnight in calendar view and schedule events until a certain threshold, ideally controlled in settings. E.g., I never go to bed after (or wake up before) 4am, so that would be the threshold I set.

Yes. The calendar time setting should make it possible to alter the visible start and end hours of a day. I often work to 01, 02 or 03 so I don't want this time at the top but at the bottom after 00 so you don't have to scroll up and add things to the next day.

Me too. As a night owl, my day ends after midnight.

Hi Tobias, how would you like this to work? Is there a tool that is handling this in a better way that I can check out? Thank you!

Stefania: When I create a task that for example starts at 11 pm and lasts two hours, I would like for it to appear on the next day's schedule from 12 am to 1 am as well.

Tobias: Makes sense. Thank you so much for clarifying!
