Standardized Calendar Events

Tasks added to a calendar currently add an HTML “Created with Akiflow" note and an emoji tick (✅ ) to the beginning of each completed task. These features are not standard, add clutter and display incorrectly in many other calendar-facing apps including Craft and Timing. There should be a way to toggle these off.

Hello Thomas. It looks like the clients you are using don't support HTML in the description field. Can you check if this is happening with any Google calendar event? For example you could go to google calendar and set a description to bold/italic/bullet list and send a screenshot of how you see it in Craft or Timing.
    Thank you.

My Dark Lord: Yes I would have the same issue in that case. It's not necessarily the formatting that is bugging me though, I just don't see the need for having that note on every single event. I love the product but this feels a bit like an ad for a service I'm already using, shown 10 times a day. If every calendar-facing app added custom notes and emojis wouldn't the calendar look like a mess?

      Thomas: Hello Thomas,
The first part about the "Created by Akiflow" can be disabled from your settings. This will apply to events, and from next release also to task locked in calendar (there is a bug in regards to this). The next release will be deployed next week.
For the emoji issue, i've added a related feature request and added your vote already: https://product.akiflow.com/features-and-improvements-request/p/locked-task-remove-the-emoji-on-gcal-on-task-completed.
      Thank you.
