Task Bucketing for Related Items

I would love a feature that allows for "bucketing" like tasks together. For example, I’m currently in the midst of doing my taxes. I have emails (pulled from my integrated Gmail) and to-dos, all related to my taxes. While this isn't a full-fledged project or something that warrants its own tag, I would love the ability to group them together under a single heading for easier organization.

Proposed Implementation:

This feature could function similarly to sub-tasks but remain more flexible and lightweight. In practice, it could work by:

  1. Creating Buckets – A user can manually create a bucket (e.g., “Taxes 2025”) that acts as a temporary container.

  2. Drag & Drop Functionality – Tasks and emails can be easily dragged into the bucket.

  3. Quick View & Expand/Collapse – Buckets appear as a single item in the task list but can be expanded to show all grouped items.

  4. Cross-Category Compatibility – Tasks, emails, and notes can be added to the same bucket without requiring a project or tag.

  5. Optional Auto-Bundling – If Aki Flow recognizes multiple tasks with similar keywords (e.g., "tax"), it could suggest bundling them together.

  6. This would be incredibly helpful for users managing related but ad-hoc tasks without cluttering their workspace.

Let me know if you need any clarifications or additional details!

Exactly the feature request I was looking for.

Time slots are great, but it would be great to have a similar idea executed with bulking tasks that can be done in the same environment or location.

For example, similar to your taxes idea, I have some tasks that have to do with communicating with one person. It would be so convenient if I could group all the tasks together so that I could do them all for when I would be with that person sometime in the future.

You may think that I can do this with time slots already. Which is true in a way, but only if it's planned in your schedule!

You cannot store time slots in your task list, at least as I'm aware.

If you could, that would solve this issue of grouping tasks once and for all for me!

How about this for an idea:

The ability to pre-plan timeslots in your task lists and then place them into your schedule.

This would save adding a completely new feature, and allow people to group related tasks together so that they can effectively do them together without wasting time & effort.

Another example are tasks that I need to do at a specific location. Right now I have timeslots for when I go weekly, but the principle is the same. If I could effectively designate tasks that can be done together for an event that I have upcoming, it would help make the workflow of completing both 'out of the way' tasks that are similar much more smoother.
