Please consider bringing back the snooze feature in Akiflow. It was useful for managing task overload by temporarily hiding tasks without needing to plan them.
Defer Dates would be a game changer. The ability to add tasks without seeing them until a future date. (i.e. I must book a doctor’s appointment but his schedule only opens up next month. If Akiflow could hide that task until a date I specify, it prevents overwhelm and task build up for things that cannot be acted on yet.

Thank you for sharing this idea, Kalin! What you’re describing is actually doable in Akiflow—when creating the task, you can schedule it under the specific month or a “Next Month” slot. The task will then stay out of sight in your main view until that time, and you can easily find it later under Upcoming or during your Daily & Weekly Planning rituals. This is a great way to prevent overwhelm while keeping future tasks organized.

Hi Martin! We introduced planning by TIMEFRAME in replacement for this. This should remove the challenges in planning tasks specifically. Have you tried planning by Monthly or Weekly timeframe instead?

Jeson P, thanks I did but is not the same. Snooze feature works in a very particular way. Its task that I need to do but dont have a priority set yet and no particular deadline. As I mentioned to the person in support. I think I should use the tool the way I want and not the way YOU want. The tool should adapt to my needs and I should not have to adapt to the tool
