Upcoming: Improved Visibility of Planned Tasks in Week/Month Views (Including Mobile)
Users want to easily view all tasks they've planned for the week or month—both unscheduled (placeholder) tasks and those with specific dates—directly in the week and month views, without needing to click into individual days or open additional panels.

Upcoming: Add "Scheduled on Calendar" Dropdown to All Overview Placeholders
Currently, only the “Today” placeholder in Akiflow has a “Scheduled on calendar” dropdown, while other placeholders like “Next Month” do not.
Problem:
When viewing tasks in placeholders like “Next Month”, clicking “View all planned tasks” takes you directly into Day view. This breaks the flow if you just want a quick overview of scheduled tasks without micromanaging. It also makes it cumbersome to move tasks between placeholders (e.g., from “Next Month” to “This Month”), especially when handling multiple tasks (10+).
Proposed Solution:
Add the “Scheduled on calendar” dropdown to all placeholders (e.g., Next Month, This Week, etc.), so users can:
Quickly see what tasks are already scheduled without leaving the overview view.
Easily move tasks between placeholders or directly to a specific date.
Maintain context without being forced into Day view.

Hi Elio Moreira! Thank you for giving us a different view on this. Currently you technically planned tasks if they are anywhere else apart from SOMEDAY and INBOX. The only difference is that, Scheduled On Calendar section only displays tasks with time when planned.

Upcoming days should automatically be part of that week
When on upcoming view - Days, if I schedule things in for specific days, then when I go to the overview, the items in this week, will not show the tasks scheduled this week.
This doesn't make sense, it means if I want to be more granular i.e. plan my week, I can't then see a more holistic view across tasks today, this week etc.
I can see if I click view all planned tasks, but I don't understand why I'd need to click to see planned things on specific days.

Hi Sam Burke! Thanks for pointing this out! We totally see how that can be confusing, and we’ll definitely review it as we continue improving the upcoming view and planning experience.

Include items scheduled later in the week in "this week" upcoming list
If you have something specifically scheduled for a day later in the week, it would be helpful to have that show up in the “this week” list (maybe organized with subsections by day before the more generalized weekly tasks) in Upcoming. I like to use Upcoming to get a handle on the remainder of my week and readjust as needed, but ones I’ve intentionally slotted into subsequent days don’t appear.

Task: Display Planned Tasks in Larger Timeframes
I would love the ability to see my planned tasks in broader time groups as well. For example, if I schedule a task for today, it should also appear under "This Week" and "This Month." This would allow me to view both my daily and weekly tasks in one place, even if they are assigned to a specific date, making it easier to track my progress at different levels.

Upcoming page – show planed tasks (week) in the (month) view
Currently, it is a bit confusing since I planned a few tasks for W51 (in Dec) but they do not show in the month-view (since planned for a specific week) and not in the overview (since it is next month). I guess an indicator such as “n tasks planned for W51” in the month view would be helpful. For a short moment I thought I lost those tasks.

View All Tasks for the Upcoming Week/Month in One Column
It would be incredibly helpful to have an option to view all tasks for the next week or month in a single column. This feature would provide a more streamlined overview and make it easier to manage and plan ahead without having to navigate between different days or sections.
