Mobile Widget: List view for tasks/events with filter

I’d love to see a widget option that allows tasks and events to be displayed in a "list" view. It would be especially useful to have a way to filter this list—for example, showing only tasks due today that are categorized as Goals or Highest Priority. A list view for the Inbox would also be incredibly helpful for quickly scanning and managing tasks. Having this kind of customizable, at-a-glance organization would make planning and productivity much smoother.

I have been hoping for this on Android for so long now. It's the only reason I still use Todoist and have it sync to Akiflow for my tasks. I can have the widget as a sticky note on my home screen for a quick overview at a glance of my today's tasks, scheduled or not

Delia Tee: Totally get that—thanks for sharing! A widget like that on Android would be super handy.

Mobile Widget: Task-Based Widgets and Lock Screen Capture

All the widget options for now seem to be schedule based. I'd make great use of a widget that just listed tasks that matched a certain definition (like date, tag, project, priority). For example, a widget that showed a list of all my high priority tasks for the day.

Lock screen wise, I'd love an easy capture method. A lockscreen widget button that deeplinks to me adding a new item in my inbox.

    Mobile - More Widget Options

It would be awesome to have more widget options for both calendar and task purposes. Some ideas:

    • Overview of whole week (see screenshot from TimeTree Calendar App)

    • Split view of Slot name and embedded tasks (see screenshot from Structured App)

    • Add to inbox from the widget without opening the app

    • Apple Calendar has some great one for inspiration

As an additional note, it would be awesome to have the possibility to tick tasks off when completed from the widget directly without having to open the app.

Thank you so much :))) looking forward to seeing those changes if you think they could be a great improvement.

    Widget: Today-Only Tasks Widget + Filter/Sort Options

Add a widget that displays only today’s tasks, excluding calendar events. Ideally, this widget should allow filtering or at least sorting by Task type or Priority.

Yes, i have asked for something similar in a different request. Take a look at how flexible and customizable the Todoist widget for task list is on Android. They have some top notch stuff. I usually make a stack on android with 3 different versions based on customizing the same widget. I have one for today tasks - scheduled or not, filtered by my "personal" label; i also have one for upcoming tasks, and another for my inbox

    Customizable Widget Views for Task

Allow users to customize widget views by selecting specific task lists or filters, such as Inbox-only, Overdue, or High Priority tasks, to better support daily planning at a glance.

New mobile widget - slot split view

It would be great to have a widget that has a split view:

    • on the left -> info about the slot like name, time remaining, corresponding project or calendar.

    • on the right -> the task list that are nested in this slot (with the option to tick them off directly from the widget)

    IOS/Mac Widget Improvement

For IOS I think it would be nice if we can get a option to only see tasks/events/overdue/schedule to do etc. It really helps. I am using Fantastical right now as a main Calendar & Task app which has really great widgets and Watch App.
