    Hi everyone.

Akiflow now has a hosted MCP server that connects to Claude, and other MCP clients

like ChatGPT, Cursor and more. Your AI assistant can create, edit, complete, plan

and read tasks, see your full multi- calendar schedule, create and edit events and time slots,

and read your meeting transcripts and action items, all in natural language.

Here's how to set it up: https://product.akiflow.com/help/articles/4302815-akiflow-mcp.

Marking this as Completed, and thanks for pushing us on it.

Note on availability: we're rolling this out progressively to keep things stable,

so it can take up to a week to reach everyone.

If you don't see it yet, it's on its way, thanks for your patience.

I can tell you the first one I just created - i already have a skill in my career project where i dump what i did for the day and it organizes it in some files that im using for accomplishments log that i can remember to use when im creating resumes and applying for roles, OR use for quarterly performance reviews and show what i’ve been doing.

I was manually typing all the things i did for the day into claude code, but i just ujpdated the skill to instead of asking me what i did, fetch the completed items from the day from akiflow and then let me verify and run with it. will be so much easier than me checking off things in akiflow and writing them down in a notepad and then copying and pasting to my terminal!

I’ve been using this a bit from Claude Code and no issues so far!
However when I tried to add the MCP to the Codex app

https://openai.com/codex/ , I couldn’t get it working. Can the team add Codex app instructions to the help page?

Hi @Zeb. Thanks for your feedback. Can you try the following to setup Akiflow MCP with Codex and let me know if it works:

        Codex app

Use this option if you want Codex to read your Akiflow schedule, manage tasks, create calendar events, and use Akiflow MCP tools while working in the Codex desktop app.

        1. Open the Codex app.

        2. Open Settings.

        3. Go to Integrations & MCP.

        4. Choose Add your own or Add custom MCP server.

        5. Enter the MCP server details:

Name: Akiflow URL: https://mcp.akiflow.com/mcp Authentication: OAuth / Sign in with Akiflow
        1. Follow the sign-in flow and authorize Codex to connect to your Akiflow account.

        2. Return to Codex and start a new thread, or restart the current one, so Codex can load the Akiflow MCP tools.

        Codex CLI

If you use the Codex CLI, you can add the same MCP server from your terminal:

codex mcp add akiflow --url https://mcp.akiflow.com/mcp

If Codex does not automatically open the sign-in flow, run:

        codex mcp login akiflow

Codex stores MCP configuration in ~/.codex/config.toml, so the same connection can be used by the Codex app, CLI, and IDE extension.

thanks, but these seem to leave out several required fields.

Have you connected to Codex succesfully? Am I looking at the wrong screens?

Yes, I have. You can keep those fields empty. Another (maybe easier) way to connect it to codex is just to connect it to ChatGPT first and then all connected MCPs are available to Codex as well. Feel free to reach out to me directly and we can jump on a call so I can help you debug this: tadej [at] akiflow [dot] com

Hey everyone, Tadej here from the Akiflow product team.

We're actively building MCP server support and looking for a small group of beta testers to help shape it before launch. This isn't just early access - we want people who are willing to report bugs, share feature requests, and show us the workflows they build.

If that sounds like you, sign up here: https://forms.gle/HiuGXELk1HeFB4j38

    Hey

This is crazy you don't support MCP, being an ai native app

      Hi @Viktor👋

Good day! Thank you for your feedback, we truly appreciate you taking the time to share it!

We completely understand your comment, and we hear you! While we don't have a specific ETA on when MCP support will be available, we want you to know that we already have a blueprint in place and this feature is currently being reviewed internally.

We're definitely moving in the right direction and will keep you updated as things progress. Thank you again!

They would need an API first, so put the MCP on top of, but they have been “looking” at that feature for 5 years.

        But Ryan, didn't you see?
        It's:
        ✅ on their radar
        ✅ being actively explored internally
        ✅ in the blueprint
        ✅ a high-impact improvement
✅ moving in the right direction

They just don't have a concrete ETA. Or an API. Or an MCP.
But they do hear you loud and clear 😅

I had quit my subscription and will subscribe to any new high quality app like Sansama or Akiflow, depending who implements a solid MCP server first.

I want to be able to talk to Claude Code, to help me manage my tasks and projects. And until high quality MCP server is present, it's not possible.

This would be the holy grail for me! I am so integrated into Cluade and Akiflow for my daily life. That an MCP would be a game changer? I really like Aki's AI feature, but it doesn't connect to the rest of my life as Claude does, so it’s logical that I don’t need to use 2 AIs. But Claude can not replace Akiflow for me as my task manager and calendar app :)

I also am using Claude CoWork religiously in my workflow now. I uploaded my data export from Akiflow to claude CoWork and it was able to just do a bunch of the todo’s on my task list. If I were able to have a direct integration it would literally change my life

Thanks for sharing this—it's great to hear how much Claude CoWork has been helping your workflow. We completely understand how a direct integration could be a game-changer, and we’ll log this as a feature request for future consideration.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share your use case with us.

I’m in awe at the fact that this isn’t supported yet. — It’s been one year since this was requested, despite repeated acknowledgement, we have seen ZERO indication that this is being worked on, and instead continue to see precanned non-answers… MCP support is not an incredibly daunting task considering the API is already AI-friendly to support Aki.

MCP support is standard infra for AI-native products. For a product positioned as such, the constant lag here makes Akiflow feel less forward-looking and gives the indication that you’re trying to prevent Aki from being overshadowed in your UVP. — Asana, ClickUp, and Todoist support MCP. Sunsama is around the corner.

If this isn’t supported in the next couple of months, I’ll be switching.

Thanks for your feedback, Sam. I understand your frustration.

We cannot say when MCP support will be available, but our team is actively discussing it, as it’s currently one of the most requested features. Since you’ve already upvoted this request, you’ll be notified once it becomes available.

Hey Sidney! We hear you. This is clearly really important for your workflow.

We are exploring API and MCP support, and it’s something we definitely want to build, but it’s a big project and not available just yet. Your feedback really helps here and I’ll make sure it’s flagged with the team as high priority.

Really appreciate you pushing on this 🙏

Hi, not having an MCP is a real painpoint at the moment. I subscribed for a long term plan (1 year left) but considering taking the loss and switching to a tool that offers an MCP. I use OpenClaw and Claude daily. Currently I can workaround a 1-way syncing but 2-way syncing will only be possible if you release an api/MCP.
I consider your tool as premium and much more expensive than other tools that have been providing an MCP for months now. I understand the business decision to try to build your own AI environment for organization but I think you will not be able to provide all of use cases we can build with our own tools (everyone can build something taylored by vibecoding now).
