Automatically add all tasks with a project tag to a time slot

I have a blocked timeslot for "Reading list". I'd like to automatically add all items in with that project to that timeslot.

Ie new item in project #readinglist -> add to nearest timeslot with tag #readinglist

Alternatively, I'd use tags here but you can't add a tag to a timeslot

It would be really great to auto populate a timeslot with all tasks with a tag. So you could e=select a tag for a timeslot and autopopulate with all tasks that have that tag. Same for projects.

This would amazing! It is very frustrating to have drag tasks from a project that is already assigned to a time slot into that time slot over and over again, especially if the tasks and time slots occur daily.

Great idea. Anything to reduce fussy app-management over actual task and life management is a huge help.

Hi Jakub, did you try this button to create a slot from the label page?

I'd then use cmd + A to select all tasks and drag and drop them into the slot.

    Let me know!

    Assign tags to time slots

As a user I want to view a tag label on a time slot.

    More context

My core projects are: Job, Personal, Family, Extra-activities (associations, clubs, nerd channel, etc).

In order to distinguish tasks inside of those projects I use, of course, tags.

However, my daily schedule (let’s say the 9am-6pm part mostly) is a wall of Job Project time slots.

This is because time slots are visually characterized only by title and color.

I would find very useful to have a tag visible, so that I can recognize quickly which time slot will be dedicated to tasks about a specific group of job activities (tagA for clientA, tagB for clientB, etc).

This way I could also swap and reprogram them more easily and I guess tags could help AI replanning in the same way.
For example, let’s assume my weekly Job-project slots are tagged already.
I would ask AI to replan tasks in a time slot tagged “client-A”.
AI could easily pick the next time slot dedicated to the Job-project with that specific tag “Client-A” instead of replanning just on any available Job-project slot.

This would also relate easily with another flow, which is linked to a ticket I found here alrreadìy: “Add TAsks to time slots by tag”.

Autoschedule new tasks to next available Time Slot with same project assigned

Would like to have tasks planned to the next open time slot with the same project name that isn't over capacity.

Auto-Populate Tasks into Timeslot Based on Due Date & Priority within their Project

If a timeslot is assigned to a specific project, tasks from that project should automatically fill the timeslot based on due date, priority, and other relevant factors.
