Add Markdown (task description, copy&share..)
Since I work with other apps that work with Markdown (e.g., Bear for notes), this would enable compatibility. Here's how Things app solves it: https://culturedcode.com/things/blog/2021/08/remarkable-notes/
However, Markdown support is not a game changer for me and only a personal preference.

markdown support in general would be amazing, its too clunky to highlight or select the toolbar to create headings. I would like to quickly just create headings using markdown.

Another feedback comment from Dodge
They’re so useful in Todoist — [Clickable Title Here](hidden link here) — so I use them all the time. But when I bring the task over to Akiflow, it’s a giant mess. Similarly, all Spark integrations to Todoist show up there as clickable titles and in Akiflow as long, non-clickable web addresses. I think simply adding markdown to titles would fix all this and make the integration with Todoist much better. Thank you!

That would be so great to have support for markdown not only in description but in task titles as well. This way items imported with other apps like todoist will appear in nicely formatted shape.

Hi Ruben, can you be more specific? What's about the Akiflow UI that is not working for you?
Thanks!

Stefania: As you can see from in this imported task from trello, the whole description text is condensed, there is no paragraphs or basic styling, which makes it extremely hard to read and understand. I personally can't do it, I need to open trello and read there, only use akiflow to see the task name. Makes sense?

It would be a game changer for task descriptions, specially when used with focus mode. This would replace 3rd party note apps for most of my documentation for work.

I'd like the descriptions also to support Markdown, because we copy tasks from apps that have that support. For example
code or commandsupport would be nice.Miguel

Text Description: Make it more appealing using Markdown
The descriptions should be more visually appealing. A markdown reference https://www.markdownguide.org/

Adding this feedback on behalf of Dodge:
This would be especially helpful for links. Rather than having them take up tons of messy note space, we’d have the option to write it this way - [name of link](website address) and have it automatically create a tidy hyperlink. I’d love that to apply to titles, too. (One side benefit would be that it would recognize that format when imported from other apps like Todoist rather than break them into sloppy forms.) Thanks!

Text Copy: Preserve Markdown Formatting When Manually Copying Text from Task Notes
Currently, when copying text from task descriptions or notes in Akiflow by manually selecting and copying, the markdown formatting (e.g., headings, bold, italics) is not retained thus the formatting is lost. Although the Copy to Clipboard button retains markdown formatting, it is only available in specific views, such as certain task details screens. This button is not accessible in all contexts, such as within the task description editor.
