Right now a calendar event stays in the osx task bar until the event is finished. When it finishes earlier I'd like to be able to mark it as done, instead of changing the duration of the event.
Allow us to mark events as "complete" within Akiflow. This could be implemented as a toggle or marker that visually indicates whether an event has been completed, is still pending or not completed.
It would be motivating feature to check off "events", especially since imports from Google calendars are set as "events" and "events" can't be changed into "tasks"

Me too! This is satisfying plus I can check it off like a task to indicate my meeting admin, such as notes, are complete and sent to relevant parties etc.
