Hi everyone! We plan to integrate Google Task with Akiflow. In the meantime, you can use Zapier to import Google Task's tasks into Akiflow; check here for more information: https://zapier.com/apps/google-tasks/integrations/akiflow Let me know if you have any questions :)

Stefania: The IFFFT import of Google Task's tasks into Akiflow seems to work better for me than the Zapier implementation!

Hi Manuel!
I totally understand how important this is for your workflow. At the moment, we don’t have an ETA to share, but our team is aware of this request and actively tracking it. We’ll be sure to announce it broadly as soon as it’s added to the roadmap or becomes available. Thanks so much for your patience and for letting us know how valuable this would be for you.

Needs to be a 2-way sync, unlike what Zapier can provide

Stefania: hi Stefania! Yes I was able to get it setup with Zapier but it looks like it’s only a one way sync from gtasks to akiflow. Looking forward to native two way sync integration. Also are assigned mentions in google drive comments on the roadmap?
Stefania this is something to bring attention to your product team.

Kris: Definitely ! Just discovered that yesterday, that's great. As I tend to prefer working in Google Workspace, rather than having separate tools where I lose focus with features and fluff
I’d like to integrate Google Tasks just like Akiflow did with Microsoft To Do. Google Tasks is the native task tool on Android, deeply integrated into Gemini and Google Calendar. As an Android user, not having Google Tasks is a deal breaker for me unfortunately.
The integration through Zapier is just not deep enough, it just creates new tasks and doesn’t update them.

Hi Christian,
Thanks so much for sharing this — that’s a really clear and important point, especially for Android users.
We completely understand why a native Google Tasks integration would be a deal breaker, given how deeply it’s tied into Google Calendar and Gemini. You’re also right that Zapier-style connections don’t offer the kind of two-way, real-time sync that makes a task manager truly reliable.
I’ve shared this feedback with our product team so they’re aware of how critical this is for your workflow. We really appreciate you taking the time to explain the use case and why it matters.

With recent Gemini Gmail enhancements allowing intelligent task creation from Gmail, this has become more relevant.

Now Google has rolled out the ability to assign tasks in Google Docs, this integration is going to become critical for people in Google's ecosystem.
