Assign events to projects
The ability to drag an event into the project folder. This way one can see the tasks related to the specific event or events. Having the events show up at the top of the project with the dates due and then tasks like normal in the project. This would be extremely helpful for my brain and planning.

Assign a project to an event
I'd like the ability to add projects to meetings, this will allow time blocking (you can group related project tasks in and around meetings). it will also allow tracking the time spent in each project (area/category/project).

That would be great. This is also the way Sunsama does it and I found it very helpful when analyzing the time of a day.

I love the idea of being able to label events and meetings for organization and as a makeshift form of time tracking. It'd be great to have actual time tracking built in as well.

Assign projects to events & meetings (with automatic project color)
It would be great to be able to categorize not just slots, but also calendar events and meetings under projects.
Currently, slots can already be assigned to a project, which is super useful. However, this functionality is missing for events and meetings. Being able to assign a project to any calendar event would mean it automatically inherits the project color, making it much easier to visually scan your calendar and immediately see how your time is distributed across projects.
Use case: When I have client meetings, internal syncs, or deep work blocks, I want them all color-coded by project so my calendar gives me an instant overview of where my time is going — without having to manually set colors for each individual event.
Suggested behavior:
Add a "Project" field to events and meetings (similar to how it works for slots)
Automatically apply the project color to the event once a project is assigned
Sync the color if the project color is updated

just reiterating, this feature request is the only reason I’m still holding out hope I can use Akiflow to do what I need it to do for freelancing.
