Daily Stats Calculating Time Slot Duration
I use slots to timeblock between work and different task type - separated with tags. It would be nice to be able to see time spent based on the slot duration rather than the tasks within it. Time spent further separated by the slot's tag

Statistics: Time slot statistics
I wanted to suggest a feature that would make managing my time much easier. I work with different teams, and I treat each team as a "project" in my calendar. I assign time slots to reflect when I'm working with each team, but it would be incredibly helpful to have a rollup or summary of the time allocated to each project. For example, being able to see how many hours are devoted to each team would help me manage my time better and ensure everything is balanced. It would also be great to have a comparison between "budgeted" vs. "spent" time for these slots, like a simple breakdown that helps with weekly planning.

I would like to add a few ideas to this request because this kind of project-level time analysis would be very useful for my workflow as well.
For me, Akiflow is not only a task manager. I would like to use it as a tool that helps me understand whether my real use of time matches my priorities.
It would be useful to have:
Planned vs. actual time per project — how much time I planned for a project and how much I actually spent on it.
Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and custom-period statistics.
Percentage distribution of time between projects — for example, Project A 35%, Project B 20%, personal development 15%, etc.
Planned capacity or a time budget for each project — for example, I decide that a project should receive 5 hours per week and Akiflow shows whether I am above or below that target.
Comparison between different weeks or months to understand how my time allocation is changing.
Ability to exclude certain projects, tasks, events, or categories from statistics when they are not relevant to the analysis.
Project-level breakdown of completed tasks and Time Slots, so I can see not only how much time was allocated but also what was actually accomplished.
A simple visual dashboard showing where my time is going.
The most valuable part for me would be connecting priorities → planned time → actual time.
For example, if I say that a project is important but consistently allocate only 2% of my working time to it, Akiflow could make that discrepancy visible.
This would turn the statistics from a simple time report into a useful weekly planning and review tool.

Adding a comment on behalf of Nicole Krehbiel - "It would be helpful for me if I could see a rollup of the time allocated in time slots per project. For context - I manage different teams so I have each team as a "project" and assign time slots based off when Im working with each team. I would like to see how many hours are devoted to each "project" so I can manage my hours per team."

Here's an interesting implementation inspired by Sunsama:
Tasks without a duration stays that way by default if added to a slot. Then compare between the total duration of completed tasks in that slot (where duration-less tasks count as 0) and the slot duration. Take whichever is higher for calculating stats.
This works well with time-tracking if that is added too: have the option to track either the slot as a whole or track individual tasks within that slot. The same comparison rules apply, but the "actual" tracked time is used instead of planned duration.

Chayut: Great idea inspired by Sunsama! This flexible approach to duration and time-tracking sounds efficient. We’ll keep it in mind for future consideration—thanks for sharing!
