How are Trello and Akiflow synched?
Akiflow and Trello are 2-way synched.

How are my Trello recurring tasks imported into Akiflow?
How are my Trello recurring tasks imported into Akiflow?
Tasks are imported as single instances, not as recurring tasks.
Imported tasks cannot be set as recurring.
When the Trello recurring task is marked as done, the corresponding Akiflow task is moved to the next recurrence.
This is the same task, marked as undone and placed in the new recurrence; a new task is not created.
Remember, you can configure the integration to automatically mark a Trello card as done when you complete the corresponding Akiflow task.
What happens when I mark a card as done in Trello?
What happens when I mark a card as done in Trello?
A Trello card is marked as done in Akiflow when any of these conditions applies:
β’ The card is moved to a list you configured as completed.
β’ The cardβs due-date checkbox is checked, even when the card is not in a configured completed list.
β’ The card is archived.
These methods work independently. When none of these conditions applies, the task is marked as undone in Akiflow.
Why are cards I archived in Trello still open in Akiflow after reconnecting?
Why are cards I archived in Trello still open in Akiflow after reconnecting?
This happens when your Trello integration was disconnected for a while and you then reconnected it. If you haven't used Akiflow for some time, your integrations disconnect automatically, and their status in Settings β Integrations shows Disconnected - inactive account. You can also disconnect an integration yourself.
While the integration is disconnected, nothing syncs between Trello and Akiflow. When you reconnect, Akiflow imports the cards that are open in Trello. If you moved a card to a completed list or checked its due-date checkbox while disconnected, Akiflow marks it as done, because the card is still open in Trello. If you archived or deleted a card in Trello during that time, Akiflow doesn't import it, so it stays open in Akiflow. Everything you do in Trello after reconnecting syncs as usual.
To clean up these tasks, you can:
Complete or delete them in Akiflow. If a pop-up asks what to do in Trello, choose Do nothing, since the card is already archived. You can select several tasks at once β How to bulk edit tasks
Reset the integration. Go to Settings β Integrations, click your Trello account, open the β¦ menu and choose Reset integration. Akiflow deletes every task imported from that Trello account and imports your open Trello cards again, so only those come back. Details you added only in Akiflow, like tags or a time slot, are lost. Nothing changes in Trello.
